It’s the moment all cycling fans have been waiting for, the final stage of the Tour de France, and the finishing line on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées. After more than three weeks of racing, the racers can finally push for home and celebrate the winner of the coveted yellow jersey. After having negotiated the 113 kilometres between Chantilly and Paris, the peloton will embark on the final circuit in central Paris. From Place de la Concorde, to the Champs-Elysées and along the Quai des Tuileries, you can cheer on the riders at several places along the route. Although this final stint usually favours sprinters, the rest of the pack will be hoping to confound the forecasts. One thing is certain, the yellow jersey will remain the property of the leader of the Tour, who will celebrate his title on the Champs-Elysées after crossing the Tour de France finishing line. 23 July 2017CLA_IMG
